We are a group of friends from Chesterfield who know first hand the work that Ashgate offers to our community. We wanted to take on a challenge that pushed us all and raises much needed funds for the hospice.... So after a few drinks we decided to jump out of a plane!!!!

Ashgate Hospice offers free, compassionate care for adults with life-limiting or incurable illnesses such as cancer and neurological diseases. Based in North Derbyshire, we provide palliative and end of life care, ensuring our patients are well-supported and comfortable. Our services also extend to the people who are important to them, offering practical help and emotional support.

The majority of our services are funded through community generosity, with over 60% of our budget coming from donations and 31% from local NHS contributions. At Ashgate, our vision is for people to have the right care and support when it matters most.
