We are both delighted to be running the TCS London Marathon in aid of Disability Challengers on Sunday 21st April 2024!

Challengers are passionate about providing play and leisure opportunities to all disabled young people, to enable them to have fun, make friends and try new activities while also providing vital respite for families!

We both have a special connection with Challengers as James' fiancée, Amy Wittish has worked within the charity for the past few years leading play and youth schemes and recently moving into the role of Farnham Pre-School Manager. This has allowed us to see the impact Challengers makes to so many disabled children and their families. Challengers is a lifeline for so many children, young people and their families and we wish to raise as much as we can for this charity.

In addition to this we are running the marathon in memory of our cousin and best friend, Charlie Taggart.

Charlie was the most loving, caring and kind hearted person you could ever meet. Charlie had an infectious joy for life. Her laughter would easily spread and her smile would light up the room. She could turn any situation into a happy memory.

Charlie was a big believer in action for young people with disabilities so we see raising money for Challengers as a fitting tribute to her.

We were both lucky enough to have Charlie in our lives and would now like to show our appreciation by dedicating this run to her.
