Story
The Cause
A marathon seems like a small distance to run (and maybe gently jog/walk?!!) to help.
Since Katrina, (beautiful wife, wonderful lover of all animals and all-round good egg), started working with Calvert you can see the amazing work they do. As an accessible activity centre and charity in the heart of the South West, their approach to supporting all abilities through a unique range of inclusive, outdoor activities is a joy to behold.
I have been lucky enough to be on site, to meet the horse and donkeys, (yes, they are just the cutest!), but also the people who have an intrinsic drive to help improve the experiences of those who visit the centre.
As stated, a marathon seems like a small distance to run (and maybe gently jog/walk?!!) to help.
So, I call upon you to help, to offer and give what you can so this rural charity can continue to realise its potential and enrich lives.
To provide care and safe, supportive environments alongside some unforgettable memories.
We will be running a number of events alongside my marathon run to increase ethe amount we can raise. No need to keep checking back, I will be ubiquitous in my communications, so this cause doesn’t fade from your thoughts.
Updates on my training…well so far update 1:
I’ve started to train!
Together we can make a difference, more funding means more for the visitors and the animals, did I mention they have horses and the cutest donkeys ever!!
