Story
We are walking the West Higland Way in May in memory of David Scott, a wonderful father to Danny and Charlie and husband to Jo. He died in September 2025 due to an infection. David was a proud Scotsman, our holidays were spent hill walking in Scotland. David suffered from Primary Sclerosing Collingitis, an auto immune condition for which the only remedy was a liver transplant. But it was not a cure and the disease returned. David felt very lucky to have 2 transplants which gave him an extra 14 years of life. Even after his 2nd liver transplant he continued to hike up Munroes in the Scottish Highlands. We are raising funds in his memory for 2 causes. This page is in aid of the Foundation for Liver Research.
Our other page Is for the Critical Care Unit at the Royal Cornwall Hospital where David died. This is the link
