Beloved Missionary School, Accra, Ghana. Building Brighter Futures: Expanding with a 3rd Floor for Growth

Running 51KM along the Thames path from Oxford to Goring on Thames · 19 October 2024
A young visitor from the UK this summer asked our head of mission
" why there were only 2 floors to the secondary school?"
Well we had decided that since someone had given money for the roof we would stop at 2 and complete the building.
She asked again "Why 2 floors, what about the children coming through the school , what if you get more and more, what provision have you made for future generations?"
What a great question, the team decided that more space is needed for the next generation of students.
It's a lot of money, nearly £30K to build the structural pillars (31), connecting beams, stairs and 1200 bags of cement. We wouldn't have got this far without the kind donations of supporters, it would be great if you could support me this time as I run along the Thames from Oxford to Goring. That's 51KM or 31.6 miles or a marathon + 5.4 miles , it's going to take a lot of snacks!
"With each bag of cement we move one step closer to securing an education for another child who may not even have been born yet."
