This September, I am taking on the London to Paris cycle for Furnishing Futures – a fantastic charity that transforms empty social housing into fully furnished homes for women and children escaping domestic abuse.

Many survivors are rehoused with nothing – no flooring, no beds, no curtains and no basic furniture. Furnishing Futures steps in to change that. Their team creates safe, healing homes using as-new furniture from the interiors industry that would otherwise go to waste.

I’m aiming to raise £2,000, enough to cover the essential items a family needs when starting again. To give you an idea of what your donation could help provide:
