Story
Please help to make a positive impact and support the new Emergency and Critical Care Appeal at Dorset County Hospital.
We are a lung cancer screening service based in South Walks House and as a team we are determined to help this cause by completing the 10K walk. This team consists of Hana Spencely, Ellie McCall, Dot Beaumont, Marta Baran, and Sammy Amey, alongside supportive family members.
We are joining Michael Dooley, former consultant at Dorset County Hospital, who is leading the way on the 100km Jurassic Challenge to raise £100,000 to provide exceptional care to those who need it most.
This unique challenge is not just about physical endurance; it's about coming together as a community, united by a shared goal of providing exceptional care to those who need it most.
Here is a quote from a recent patient:
Grant (pictured )spent two months in the Critical Care Unit and said: “It’s unbelievable the support and care they give relatives.” His mother, Jackie said: “The staff were phenomenal. Accommodation for relatives is so needed.”
The need for enhanced care to improve facilities for patients, relatives and staff is imperative. Please help where you can. Thank you.
