When my youngest son Ethan was first diagnosed with autism, we struggled to know who to turn to for help and support. The Zone! are a small local charity providing families who have children with autism, the opportunity to meet and take part in activities. When I heard that they had need of a willing volunteer to try to help raise some much needed funds, I was happy to step forward (or possibly that should be backwards off of a tall building).
