For anyone that knows me just a little, and loving the social drinking, I have challenged myself to not drinking alcohol for one month, in June, to raise money for a very worth cause.

I work towards supporting the most vulnerable in Leeds and we are fund raising for this worthy cause.

Established in memory of our late colleague Peter Richards, who sadly passed away in 2020, Peter's Fund helps people who have multiple disadvantage and are homeless or who are at risk of becoming homeless across Leeds.

From the initial donations made by friends and family of Peter, to the inaugural Peter Richards Memorial Football Tournament, Peter's Fund has raised over £4,000. This has enabled us to provide vital resources, including laptops and other tech for people to complete training courses, seek employment and receive counselling online, clothes for families and children, transport for people to get to vital appointments and delivery charges for household essentials such as cookers, washing machines and other white goods.
