I am walking the Yorkshire 3 peaks for my dad who passed away in Feb 2023 of cancer. This is a 24 mile hike up and down 3 mountains in 12 hours. My dad started his career in the merchant navy where he served 15 years at sea. When he passed its was his old seamen friends that helped us keep his memory alive. With tails and stories of the man my dad was. The Seafarers' Charity makes a life-changing impact in troubled times. Their grants to organisations support those who work – or have worked – at sea, and their families. Proactive and forward-looking, they also seek ways to prevent issues becoming problems.
