I am a prostate cancer surgeon that plays golf when I can.

A couple of patients have persuaded me to join them playing 100 golf holes in one day. 23rd of June, so plenty of day light hours. 5 1/2 rounds of golf in one day. 12 is enough. 18 is plenty.

Prostate Cancer UK does a great job raising awareness and funding research work so I’m very happy to support them. I’m very happy to support my patients and very happy to raise awareness so less men get to me too late.

I should be operating on a Monday removing a couple of cancerous prostates, so to make good with the cause in mind we are removing 6 the day before at The Royal Marsden Hopsital.

I have lost much sleep over it. I will not be doing this again :)
