In September, I'm challenging myself to knit! A trivial challenge really, I've knitted before...but never larger than baby size! So I am knitting a jumper for Jasper 💙 He is almost 6 and a gorgeous little boy living a privileged life. A well fed, safe, educated, fearless, opportunity filled, wonderful little life.

So many children and families do not have the luxury of this, and so flee lives that are war-torn, hungry, violent and futureless.

I'm Racing for Refugees because I believe that everyone deserves safety, dignity and hope for the future. But for far too many refugees, this is the last thing they are greeted with when they arrive in the UK.

Refugee Action exists to defend the right to safety that we all share. They’re fighting the hostility that has a devastating, daily impact on refugees. I'm joining them in the fight for people seeking safety to have the support and opportunities to thrive, not just survive.

The money I raise will power life changing support and system changing campaigns. Thank you for supporting me.
