Story
I am running the London Marathon for my fiancée Lisa and those like her.
Lisa was born with transposition of the great arteries and two holes in her heart.
In 1991 Lisa underwent life saving surgery spending 6 weeks in and out of theatre having multiple open heart surgery's.
She had a Fontan bypass installed which was really experimental at the time.
If it wasn't for Great Ormond Street and now Queen Elisabeth Hospital Birmingham Lisa would not be here today.
Lisa still has many issues with the Fontan operation ageing and only functions on one heart chamber instead of the four a normal person would.
Please help me raise money for GOSH so they can continue to Research and Develop these life saving procedures and continue the amazing work they do everyday.
