The latest Office for National Statistics figures (2022/23) show that one in three victims of domestic abuse are male, meaning one in seven men (13.9%) will be a victim of domestic abuse in their lifetime. The effects of this are many, and have meant that 6.5% of male victims (2.8% women) have considered taking their life due to partner abuse in 2022/23.
