Hi All,

As you may know I'm going to try and drag myself through the Sheffield Half Marathon this year. I'm running with my work, Sheffield Hallam, in order to raise money for Sanctuary Scholarships, which supports refugees and asylum seekers who are looking for a chance to study in higher education (more info below).

Anything you can give to help me reach my target will be appreciated. Nice one.

Sanctuary Scholarships recognise the determination, aspirations and resilience of asylum seeking students, and their abilities and potential to succeed. Sheffield Hallam University is a University of Sanctuary in recognition of its outstanding support for refugees and people seeking sanctuary across all areas of higher education. Through raising money by running the Sheffield Half Marathon, more financial support can be offered to those students attending Sheffield Hallam University to ensure they can have an immersive and positive experience
