We, Donna, Harry, Layla & Arya (our granddaughters) and Solo & Sanchez (our crazy Spaniels) are hosting a Garden Get-together as part of the National Garden Scheme's Great British Garden Party this year. We are combining our love of gardens, art, sculpture, coffee and cakes! So getting together with friends, family and local community to raise vital funds for some of the UK's best-loved nursing and health charities seems such a great opportunity.

We love our garden and feel grateful to have a lovely outdoor space to relax in (it's our small dose of nature, and it's the littlest things that make the biggest changes). We are active advocators for the health benefits of creative pursuits so doing this (very much out of our comfort zones) will hopefully be the start of something!

Every donation, large or small, will help provide vital support for the wonderful work done by the beneficiary charities supported by the National Garden Scheme including Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie, Hospice UK, Carers Trust, the Queen's Institute of Community Nursing and Parkinson's UK.
