Story
Myself and a group of friends be taking part in this challenge to raise funds for The North East Lincolnshire Family Support Group (a charity which is very close to our hearts).
Taking part in this challenge is no easy task! It involves climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales. The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is 3408 metres.
Ben Nevis (1345m) in Scotland, Scafell Pike (978m) in England and Snowdon (1085m) in Wales.
We will start this challenge on the 19th May, starting at Ben Nevis, followed by Scafell Pike and then finishing the next day on Snowdon.
With the help of our designated drivers Daz Burnett and Rick Lewis, we hope to do this challenge in under 24 hours!
Every donation we receive will help The North East Lincolnshire Down’s Syndrome Family Support Group support their members and families so if you could send a donation, no matter how small it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you xx
