The National Three Peaks Challenge 2023

Raising money for The NE Lincs Down’s Syndrome Family Support Group

We provide support to individuals and their families in the NE Lincs area. Our organisation provides Makaton training, training for schools, regular gymnastics sessions, regular pre-school group, enables access to specialist Speech and Language assessments and we have lots of social events.

Story

We have decided (Donna Elliott, Angela Smith, Kate Lewis, Lisa Auty, Tammy Brownlee, Tracy Samuels, Steve Brewitt and Mike Cottingham) that we would like to take on The National Three Peaks Challenge on the 19th-20th May to raise funds for The NE Lincs Down Syndrome Family Support Group. A charity which is very close to our hearts.

Taking part in this challenge is no easy task! It involves climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales. The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is 3408 metres. Ben Nevis (1345m) in Scotland, Scafell Pike (978m) in England and Snowdon (1085m) in Wales.

With the help of our designated drivers Daz Burnett and Rick Lewis, we hope to do this challenge in under 24 hours!

Every donation we receive will help The NE Lincs Down’s Syndrome Family Support Group support their members and families so if you are able to send a donation, no matter how small it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you xx
