Many girls living in and around the Moshono region in Tanzania have started puberty. They do not have money to buy sanitary pads and are using pieces of old cloth instead, which is unhygienic, often embarrassing and can lead to infections.

Our aim is to provide girls with pads throughout the year and new underwear once a year. £12 per year for sanitary products throughout the year and £7 per packet of 6 pieces of underwear per year. A total of £18 per girl per year.
