Greenwich Mind offers a place to go and lots of information for anyone suffering from dementia or mental health problems in South East London. There is no charge for these services. Since the lockdowns their services are in continual increased demand.

My dear wife has moderate dementia and I attend Mindfullness meditation, a great way for anyone to relax, especially if you are a full time carer like me.

I am a regular swimmer at Charlton Lido. I used to be a long distance swimmer and have swum the English Channel 3 times. But at 75 years old that might be a struggle to do now!

2 miles will take me around 2 hours to complete and it will be on MONDAY 19TH AUGUST from 9.00am. This will also celebrate the 40th Anniversary of my 1984 solo Channel Swim. I'll update with further details as we get nearer the date.
