We aim to run a collective 3,492kms representing the number of children affected by abuse who receive help from HFC (UK). All training kms from February will contribute to the total with a final half marathon on 10th May, 2025.

Story

Help for Children (HFC) is a charity supported by the alternative investment sector across the globe. HFC raises much needed funds to combat child maltreatment in every form around the world, where it is estimated that 1 billion children suffer some form of violence or abuse every year. HFC globally has raised over $58M since inception and touched more that 1 million childrens lives. We are determined to continue the work that we do alongside academics, social welfare experts and charities to protect children from harm.

This year, Help For Children UK is has created a bespoke challenge: to collectively run 3,492 kms.

Volunteers will be training from February with all their KMs contributing to the target of #3492 with a final half marathon on Sunday 10th May 2025 at Denbies wine estate in Surrey.

Those taking part are all members of the finance industry who truly believe the work HFC does is worthwhile and so have agreed to take part this extraordinary challenge.
