Rhubarb Farm is not just a rural charity; it is a sanctuary for individuals facing various challenges. From children grappling with behavioural and mental health issues to ex-offenders seeking a fresh start. Where ex-service personnel can find comfort from the effects of PTSD, or where elderly individuals can connect with nature and combat feelings of isolation. The Farm provides therapeutic horticultural methods that nurture both the mind and body, a place where everyone is welcomed, valued, and given the opportunity to thrive.

However, despite their incredible work, Rhubarb Farm does not receive an overwhelming influx of donations. They rely on the generosity of supporters like you to sustain their vital programs that promote health, wellbeing, and rehabilitation.

Rhubarb Farm is one of two charities that Effective Energy staff have chosen to support this year (2025) Please do head to our team page for further details as we would like to try to keep the donations, for each Charity, as equal as possible.

The Effective Energy team will carry out a range of in-office fundraising activities but several of the team will also be taking on the 'Edale Skyline Challenge' on the 7th June. They will be hiking an incredible 20 miles, taking in the best of the Peak District’s summits and racking up over 1200 meters of ascent.

All donations received, will be used at Rhubarb Farm's discretion in line with their development plans for the Charity.
