Effective Energy Solutions is proud to support Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice, a remarkable charity that plays a valuable part in the community and surrounding areas.

At Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, they care for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions. They support hundreds of families, both in the hospice and in family homes.

Their support services are wide ranging and bespoke to each family; including overnight care, music therapy, counselling, sibling support groups, home visits and much more.

It costs around £6.5m to keep their doors open for families across South Yorkshire and beyond. Statutory funding makes up 16% of this amount and the rest is raised through fundraising.

We invite you to join us in making a difference by contributing to our fundraising goal of £5,000 for Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice. Your support will help ensure that this invaluable resource continues to flourish and touch lives in profound ways.

Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice is one of two charities that Effective Energy staff have chosen to support this year (2025) Please do head to our team page for further details as we would like to try to keep the donations, for each Charity, as equal as possible.

The Effective Energy team will carry out a range of in-office fundraising activities but several of the team will also be taking on the 'Edale Skyline Challenge' on the 7th June. They will be hiking an incredible 20 miles, taking in the best of the Peak District’s summits and racking up over 1200 meters of ascent.

All donations received, will be used at Bluebell Wood's discretion in line with their development plans for the Charity.
