There is a humanitarian crisis ongoing before our eyes in Gaza. Kanza and I hope to do our best to raise money for the current crisis. InshaAllah, we are planning to do the Sutton Fun Run which is 8.5 miles in distance and approximately the width of Gaza at its southern border. 

The funds raised will be donated to Human Appeal which is a UK registered charity. They are on the ground and working hard to distribute food and aid to the people trapped there. 

£70 - Emergency food parcel to those affected lasting one month.

£500 Provide clean water to 33 people in Rafah, helping us to build a desalination plant that will provide 60,000 people with fresh water every day.

£1,000 Provide emergency medicines for hospitals.

£6,000 Rebuild and repair a damaged home in Gaza.

Whoever removes a grief from a believer from amongst the sorrows of this life, Allah will remove a grief from him amongst the sorrows of the Day of Resurrection. Whoever brings ease to one in difficulty, Allah will make it easy for him in this life and the Hereafter. (Sahih Muslim)
