Sadly, I lost my darling daughter Karen to Ovarian cancer at the young age of 31. Karen would’ve been 50 on the 8th of March 2024. As a tribute to Karen and to bring awareness of this dreadful disease that took my daughter’s life. I am planning to cycle a BIG 50 the day after Karen‘s 50th birthday, the 9th of March 2024. I am hoping to raise £1000 for Ovarian Cancer Action, a charity that fundraises for research and awareness of this dreadful disease.

I am really fortunate to live in a lovely village, several people have said that they want to join me on the day and cycle in memory of Karen. It often snows near Karen’s birthday, I am hoping to cycle 50 miles, but it weather conditions aren’t in our favour. We will be cycling 50 km.
