I'm fundraising for Beat – the UK’s eating disorder charity. Eating disorders are complex mental illnesses that can affect anyone. Right now, at least 1.25 million (1 in 50) people in the UK have an eating disorder – with millions of loved ones also affected.

This year, our fantastic campaign ‘Beat 1-2-5’ will take place during the month of October (Wednesday 1st October 2025 - Friday 31st October 2025).

Daniel and I will be walking 5 miles together, with my rollator/walker as I am relearning to walk and talk!

I am also raising funds for the brain tumour charity as I am recovering from a brain tumour by learning to walk and talk, and eat again.

Any funds raised will be shared as brain tumour research is so important but Beat have been on the end of the phone for me and countless others.
