Story
This July, the Glashim's are taking part in BHS Rideathon because spending time outside really matters to me.
It gives us the chance to get fresh air, blow off the cobwebs and enjoy the countryside together. It helps us relax and is a great way to burn off the kids' energy, safe away from traffic.
But it's getting harder to take that freedom for granted. Gates seize up or are impossible to open from the saddle. Bridleways become so overgrown that they are no longer passable. Routes we once used easily are suddenly out of reach, meaning fewer safe places to enjoy time with our horses.
The Glashim family are walking 25km or more this July to help change that. The money I raise will help keep off-road routes open, safe and accessible — not just for horses and riders. For everyone who values access to the countryside.
If you can support me, thank you. Every donation helps protect these routes, so we do not lose the simple pleasure of being outside with our family.
