Recently more than ever our family is learning the impact a cancer diagnosis can have... an intimidating curveball as she calls it! Macmillan has actively supported us from the very beginning. My first interaction with Macmillan was in the quiet evenings following the diagnosis, when looking up what it all meant through their reliable information resources online. Since, we have gratefully received support by Macmillan through therapy sessions, holistic care and organised activities.

We are not alone with someone in the UK being diagnosed with cancer at least every 90 seconds and an average 460 deaths every day by the disease.* The impact it has on the daily lives of those and the people around them is immense and it is therefore essential that Macmillan can continue providing and developing the variety of support that they offer.
