My son (now aged 3) was born with a nut and sesame allergy and it has been a real minefield and steep learning curve to ensure I keep him safe with the foods he eats. He has had a couple of bad reactions to hidden nuts, which has been really scary. I have recently got in touch with Allergy UK which has made me feel like I am not alone with dealing with my son’s allergies.

I am going to be walking 100km in October to show my support for all those people living with an allergy in the UK and to raise awareness of the wonderful work Allergy UK do. I would be grateful for any donation however small. Thank you.
