Volunteer Zambia: Changing Lives Through Sport

I’m incredibly proud to be returning to Zambia this summer for 8 weeks as a Netball Development Officer 🇿🇲

Last year was one of the most eye-opening and impactful experiences of my life. I had the privilege of coaching and working with young people in local communities, many of whom face barriers to sport that we simply don’t experience at home. Despite this, their passion, resilience, and love for netball was unmatched.

It showed me that sport is so much more than just a game. It’s a tool for empowerment, a way to build confidence, create opportunities, and bring people together.

This year, I’ve been given the opportunity to go back and build on the work already started. Not just to deliver sessions, but to create something more sustainable, strengthen relationships within the community, and have a longer lasting impact.

To make this possible, I’m fundraising to support essential costs such as equipment, resources, and travel. Every donation, no matter the size, will directly contribute to making a difference through sport and giving more young people the opportunity to play, grow, and thrive.
