Hello, as part of my role with DUCFS I am excited to embark on the journey of raising £550 (also with Anna) for Marie Curie, which aims to support those suffering from terminal illness and also support their loved ones. Just £23 could help fund an hour of expert care and emotional support for someone with a terminal illness, so reaching this goal would do so much for the charity. Any donation big or small would mean a lot and go to a more than worthy cause . Thank you so much!! <3

For DUCFS 2026, we are very proud to be partnering with Marie Curie in the North East, helping them to support those with terminal illnesses within our local community.

We’re supporting two North East–based Marie Curie projects: the Companion Volunteer Service and the North East Clinical Educator Role. Together, they strengthen Marie Curie’s leading end-of-life care by providing personal support for individuals and professional training for staff.

We will also be supporting DUCFS Launchpad, our creative outreach platform. Through a series of projects focused on local community, arts, and music, Launchpad aims to ignite change in the North East.
