On September 13th 2026, the three of us will be running The Great North Run, a (hilly!) half marathon around Newcastle Upon Tyne in the north of England.

The reason for this one-off run (I will definitely be going back to my 5k max after this!) is to raise money in memory of our wonderful father who sadly lost his fight with Parkinson’s in January 2025.

To watch the destruction that Parkinson’s brought to our father over the years was heart breaking and it would be great to raise money to help fund research into this debilitating disease.
