UPDATE 18/08/2025

Hi everyone

As many of you know, I set up a fundraiser in memory of Khia and to support the incredible local charity Petes Dragons. Thanks to your generosity we have already raised an amazing £770 💚.

Originally, I had planned to do a skydive. But unfortunately , after repeated cancellations, a recent tragedy where two people sadly lost their lives, and now the company going into liquidation, this is no longer possible.

I didn't want this setback to stop me honoring Khia, or supporting the vital work of Pete's Dragons. So instead, I am taking on a brand new challenge: Climbing Snowden! 🏔️

This will be my first ever mountain climb and I know its going to be tough - but that makes it feel all the more meaningful. I have started this with no basic level of fitness, but as part of my preparation I have taken up Couch to 5K - and on the 6th of September I'll be running my very first parkrun before heading to Snowdon the week after.

Every step (and every run!) is for Khia and for the amazing work Pete's Dragons do.

On the 22nd of September 2024 I will be doing a 15,000ft skydive in memory of Khia and to raise money for the amazing local charity Pete’s Dragon’s.

This particular charity is very close to my heart due to the incredible support I have received from them following Khia’s passing.

Pete's Dragons is a charity with one mission to help and support those who have been impacted and bereaved by suicide. They provide a vital specialist service to all who ask for it in the South West and they ask for nothing in return.

The work they do is truly incredible and it would be nice to raise as much money as possible for them so that they can carry on with the work they’re doing and other individuals affected by suicide can get the support they need in a timely manner.
