Story
I’m raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital because this extraordinary hospital shaped my life in ways I’ll never forget.
As a former patient, I experienced first-hand the care, compassion, and expertise that GOSH provides every single day. But it wasn’t just me they supported, my mum and dad were held up by the staff and volunteers too. They were guided, reassured, and cared for during some incredibly difficult moments, and I’ll always be grateful for the kindness shown to our whole family.
GOSH isn’t just a hospital. It’s a lifeline, a safe place, and a community of people who go above and beyond for children and their families. The treatment I received, and the support my parents were given, has stayed with us ever since.
That’s why this year, I’m taking on something completely new: my first ever half marathon. I’ve never run one before, but I feel ready, motivated, and genuinely excited for the challenge ahead. Every mile will be a thank you, to the doctors, nurses, volunteers, and everyone who helped my family when we needed it most.
Your support means the world. Whether it’s a small donation or a larger one, every contribution helps GOSH continue its incredible work for children and families just like mine.
Thank you for helping me give back to a place that gave me and my family so much.
