Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge · 17 May 2025 to 18 May 2025 ·

We’re the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. We’re determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. Our vision is a future where nobody dies of the disease.

Story

In September 2025, myself and Chelsea are taking on The South Coast Ultra Challenge - a 57km (35 mile) hike from Eastbourne to Hove, in loving memory of our dear friend, Sam Garbett. Sam was a kind, bright, and courageous person who brought so much joy to those around him. He was deeply loved and is missed every day.

A challenge we are sure Sam would have loved and a fitting tribute to him.

Sam had a true passion for hiking, and it feels only right to honour him by doing something he would have loved. This challenge is our way of keeping his spirit alive, while also raising awareness and funds to fight the disease that took him from us too soon.

Every step we take on this journey will be for Sam, carrying his memory with us. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help support vital research, treatment, and those affected by bowel cancer.

Please join us in stepping up for Sam. Together, we can make a difference, and together we can honour his love for life and the joy he brought to all of us.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for your love and support.
