BLI Cambodia Surgical Mission 2025

Emily Lau is raising money for Bread & Life International
Bread and Life is sending a team to run a surgical mission in Kampong Thom, Cambodia. We’ll provide life-changing surgeries, train local medics, build a Feeding Centre, water well, sanitary toilet and provide selff-sustaining livelihood projects.

Story

In Cambodia, millions of people still live without access to safe, timely, and affordable surgical care. Despite significant advances in public health, surgical services remain out of reach—especially in rural communities.

For those suffering from treatable conditions such as cleft lips and palates, burn contractures, hernias, and tumors, the absence of surgical care can mean a lifetime of pain, disability, and stigma. These are not rare or complex problems—they are common, correctable, and devastating when left untreated. Children miss school because of preventable deformities. Adults are unable to work due to conditions that cause chronic pain or impair movement. Families face social isolation, emotional distress, and financial hardship simply because the healthcare system cannot meet their basic surgical needs.

This mid-October 2025, my team and I will dedicate our time and skills to join a surgical mission aimed at restoring health and dignity to those in need. Your generous donation will be used thoughtfully and responsibly to support this life-changing work. Any amount would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for being part of this mission.
