Honouring Jack Tilley 💙 A 10K in support of Moya Cole Hospice

Emily Tilley is raising money for Moya Cole Hospice
In memory of Grandad Jack Tilley

10K Run · 22 August 2026

Moya Cole Hospice is a charity which cares for thousands of local people with cancer and non-cancer life-limiting illnesses every year.

Story

My grandad, Jack Tilley, was cared for by Moya Cole Hospice, a charity that provides specialist palliative care and support for people living with life-limiting illnesses, as well as their families. The hospice does incredible work, offering not only medical care but also emotional, spiritual, and practical support to ensure patients are treated with dignity, comfort, and compassion in their final stages of life. They also support families through what is an incredibly difficult time, helping them every step of the way.

The care my grandad received there meant so much to us as a family, and the staff showed him genuine kindness, respect, and compassion throughout his time with them. We will always be grateful for the way they looked after him and helped make such a hard time a little more bearable.

To give something back, I’m taking on a 10K run in his honour, pushing myself out of my comfort zone to raise funds for Moya Cole Hospice and help them continue the amazing work they do for other families like ours

Every donation will go directly to Moya Cole Hospice, helping them continue to support families during the most difficult times. Any amount, big or small, would mean a huge amount to me and my family in honour of my grandad, Jack Tilley.
