Story

On the 22nd March 2024 I will be running 15 miles as part of a wider run from Land’s End to John o Groats to raise money for the Down’s Syndrome Association and Down’s Syndrome Scotland.

The event is called RunAcross, organised by Iris Hammond, inspired by her little sister Nancy who has Down’s Syndrome and will begin on International Down’s Syndrome Day (21st March 2024) and should last 14 days.

I will not just be running for charity but also for my cousin Tom who has Down’s Syndrome and constantly inspires me!

All the money raised will be split between the two charities.

Thank you for your generosity!

About the charity

Children and adults with Down’s syndrome are all unique individuals with their own personalities, family backgrounds and preferences that make them who they are. We aim to create the conditions that all people with Down’s syndrome need to live full and rewarding lives.
