We are taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon for Dementia UK in loving memory of our beautiful grandma. She was taken from us way too soon by this cruel disease, and it left a huge hole in all of our hearts. Dementia UK is doing amazing work to support people living with dementia and their families, and by fundraising for them, we hope to help make a difference for others going through similar struggles. Grandma may be gone, but her memory inspires us to do what we can to help fight this awful disease and support those affected by it.

Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. Our nurses, called Admiral Nurses, provide life-changing care to families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimer's disease. They help people with dementia stay independent for longer, and support the people caring for them so they have the strength to cope with the bad days, and the energy to enjoy the good days. They have the time to listen and the knowledge to solve problems, helping families take back control when they are struggling.
