Story
Oulton Manor is proud to raising funds for Alzheimer’s Research UK.
Dementia affects families everywhere, and its impact is growing. If nothing changes, one in two of us will be directly affected – by developing dementia, caring for someone who has it, or both. Research is progressing, but we still urgently need better treatments and, one day, a cure.
That’s why Leeds Rotary Clubs proudly support Alzheimer’s Research UK through the annual sponsored walk at Temple Newsam. What began in 2024 as a single club’s initiative has grown into a shared commitment across the city.
The walk was founded by Headingley Rotarian Drew Dodds, inspired by his wife Isobel’s diagnosis in 2020. Both sadly died last year, but their determined spirit lives on, reminding us why research matters.
By donating today, you’re helping fund pioneering science that will lead to earlier diagnosis, better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
Your generosity truly makes a difference and brings hope to future generations.
