Help us get to Somertrek 27! 🏕🥾

Hi! We’re Emma (15) and Jack (13), and we’ve been given the amazing opportunity to take part in Somertrek 27 with Somerset Scouts!

We’re really excited about the adventure and everything that comes with it — getting outdoors, challenging ourselves, learning new skills, meeting new people, visiting new countries and making some great memories along the way.

The best part for us is that we get to experience it together as brother and sister. We don’t always get the chance to do things like this together, so we’re really looking forward to sharing the experience and hopefully having an adventure we’ll both remember for years to come.

Emma has been involved with Scouts for over a year and also volunteers with the Squirrels. She has recently completed her Silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, so she’s already had some amazing experiences through Scouting and is really looking forward to taking on another challenge.

Jack has only just joined Explorer Scouts, so this is a completely new experience! He’s really excited to get involved, meet other Explorers and see what Somertrek is all about.

We’re fundraising to help towards the cost of taking part, and any donation, however big or small, would mean a lot to us.

We're taking part in SomerTrek 2027 with Somerset Scouts — an exciting county Scouting experience involving travel overseas, developing new skills, and representing Somerset Scouts, while bringing together young people from across the county for challenge, teamwork and new experiences.

All funds raised through this page go directly to Somerset County Scout Council’s SomerTrek Fund. This fund, together with grants from other Somerset County Scout Council funds, helps support the delivery of the event and aims to ensure that as many young people as possible can take part.

Money raised through my page will help support the costs of my participation and the wider SomerTrek event.
