Story
For over 40 years, I have lived with a stammer. Throughout that time, I have experienced moments of shame, embarrassment, and frustration — That’s why I am passionate about ensuring people who stammer feel empowered, accepted, and know that they belong. No one should ever feel limited or defined by the way they speak.
I am proud to support STAMMA, the national charity for people who stammer. STAMMA works tirelessly to change how society views stammering — tackling shame and stigma, raising awareness, and promoting true inclusion. Over the next five years, STAMMA aims to challenge every organisation to become accessible to people who stammer — helping schools, businesses, and public services to expect stammering, plan for it, and respond better.
To achieve this vision, STAMMA needs to grow its training, services, and support network — and every contribution makes a difference.
Whatever you can give will help STAMMA to build a more understanding world for everyone who stammers.
