Story
Emma Maloney sadly passed away in 2001 at just 24 years of age at Moya Cole Hospice (formerly St Ann's Hospice). This year, Emma would have celebrated her 50th birthday and Emma's friends wanted to mark the occasion by raising money through a party this November 2026.
Emma touched the lives of so many people, and although she is no longer with us, she is never forgotten, and this event is our way of honouring her memory while supporting a cause that is incredibly close to our hearts.
We are raising funds for Moya Cole Hospice, whose compassionate team provides outstanding care, comfort and dignity to people with life-limiting illnesses, while also supporting their families through some of life's most difficult times. Their kindness and dedication make an immeasurable difference to so many local families every single day.
Our charity night will be a celebration—filled with music, laughter, friendship and dancing. Every ticket sold and every donation made will go directly towards helping Moya Cole Hospice continue their incredible work.
If you're unable to join us on the night but would still like to support the cause, we would be truly grateful for a donation, no matter how big or small. Fundraising matters now more than ever due to sharply rising service demand, higher costs and shrinking government grants, Moya Cole relies heavily on public donations for the vital work they provide to the people of Greater Manchester.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our page, for remembering Emma, and for helping us make a difference in her memory.
With heartfelt thanks,
