Our teams fundraiser for JB33 Foundation

Matt Foden is raising money for JB33 Foundation CIO
In memory of Josh Baker

Wales End to End 2026 · 4 July 2026

On 2nd May 2024 our lives changed forever…… Our son Josh Baker passed away suddenly two weeks before his 21st birthday, leaving us heartbroken. He was just at the start of his cricketing career – something that had always been part of his and our lives. Josh loved life and was always finding ways to fulfil his dreams. We want to do something that will leave a legacy and so we will be launching the JB33 Foundation in 2025. This will become our focus – working with cricket clubs offering opportunities to all. This is a start of an exciting journey for us both to hopefully give something back to the sport that Josh and we love. Paul & Lisa Baker

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are a team raising money for the JB33 foundation in memory of Josh Baker.

Josh Baker was just beginning what promised to be a bright cricketing career. Cricket had always been close to his heart, and he embraced life with joy and big dreams. His love for the game, and for the people around him, continues to inspire everything we do.

Following the devastating loss of their son, Lisa and Paul Baker created the JB33 Foundation in his memory. The foundation supports local cricket clubs across the Worcestershire, helping them grow and thrive while also making sure vital safety measures, such as life-saving defibrillators, are in place.

At its heart, the JB33 Foundation is about giving opportunities. From supporting young players and easing the financial pressures on families, to strengthening clubs with the resources they need, our aim is to carry Josh’s spirit forward. Today, his legacy lives on whenever a player steps onto the pitch with the chance to follow their own dreams.

On the 4th July 2026 we are riding the length of Wales - Holyhead To Chepstow a gruelling 350k ride with over 5000m of climbing.

On the 5th July 2026 we will continue to Cardiff taking in the blast game (Glamorgan v Worcestershire), and then returning to New Road on 6th July.

As a team we are hoping to raise 20k and open to experienced cyclists joining for the day or any others joining for part of the route.
