Story
A number of Rise Africa girls, living in and around the Moshono region in Tanzania, have started puberty and are nervous and embarrassed about their menstruation. These young girls do not have money to buy sanitary pads and are using pieces of old cloth instead, which is unhygienic, often embarrassing and can lead to infections.
We would like to help all the Rise Africa girls who are at this stage in their lives by providing them with sanitary pads each month, costing £2 per month, £24 a year per girl. Currently, 35 girls are at this stage in their life which would cost £70 a month., £840 a year.
