Last year almost 400 babies were born needing extra help in the first few days and weeks of their lives from the Neonatal Unit at Wirral Women and Childrens Hospital, Arrowe Park.

I would like to help my family at Genesis Gymnasium to raise funds for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Arrowe Park Hospital. Arrowe Park is one of the only two level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Units in Merseyside and Cheshire, taking in the smallest and sickest babies. So I have decided to do my part and row the distance between Genesis Gymnasium and the Countess of Chester Hospital (23.6 miles).
