Story
These guys have been absolute life savers the past few months while Harry hasn’t been well enough to go to school. The support they’ve provided, the people we’ve met through their events and the chance to see Harry have a couple of hours of being happy have all been incredible. A charity in our hometown of Sale, they provide a space for kids with disabilities and different needs to meet up and play video games together. Everything from a chillout room to help kids with sensory issues, to a fully adapted headset to help kids in wheelchairs experience VR. They’re also bloody lovely.
I’m riding a stupid ultra bike ride in June, and given I’ll be working about 10% as hard as these volunteers seem to, it seemed fitting to try and raise them a few quid. It’s 1000ish miles, with 28000m of climbing (lots of mountain passes to break my spirit!). If you can chuck them a few quid to justify my stupidity and help them keep doing the work they do I’d really appreciate it!
