Story
Please don’t forget about Felix...
You may remember the story of Felix, he was a much loved pet but sadly found himself in foster care after his elderly owner was no longer able to look after him.
A routine vet check showed that Felix had chronic changes to one of his eyes, resulting in glaucoma, limited sight and undoubtedly considerable pain – the only option was to remove this eye to make him more comfortable.
This meant he was in our care for longer and needed multiple veterinary visits in addition to surgery, which for our small branch, resulted in costs over £2,600.
Felix recovered from his eye removal operation and went off to a new home to continue his healing and settle into a quiet life, but sadly he finds himself back at our doors due to a change in circumstances.
Please don’t forget about Felix, he still needs our care, your support, and a loving forever home.
If you could find it in your heart to help Felix, no amount is too small or large and will help towards the cost of his veterinary bills and care.
We receive no government funding and rely heavily on kind members of the public to help our work. Every penny makes a difference to the lives of cats in our care. If we are fortunate enough to raise above our target, all extra donations will go towards the care of other cats that need it.
