Story

Cancer is everywhere and it's when we least expect it!

My mum was diagnosed with breast cancer in August 2024.

You work all of your life, saving and planning for retirement - instead, you get a cancer diagnosis. It's terrifying, not knowing what's to come. The operations, the medications, the treatments.

Just before Christmas 2024 we got the gutting news that it had to spread. It is unfortunately now known that Mum's secondary cancer is in other locations of the body and is non curable.

It's been a huge hurdle for us all to accept and we hope the concoction of drugs and treatments will ensure the cancer can't grow or spread further.

I'm completing this half marathon with my sister to raise awareness and money for this cause. Please donate whatever you can, for this vital support to continue helping lives. 🩷💚
