Story
I woke up one one day, a few weeks ago, after a rare full eight hours’ night sleep (“luxury!” I hear all the parents here say), absolutely convinced that running a half marathon was an excellent idea.
I blame the endorphins pumping then through my fully rested brain: those of you that know me will be aware that running has never come natural to me…
I’m always in awe of the people in my life, fundraising for wonderful causes and setting themselves impressive personal and physical challenges. There are many incredibly worthy charities and organisations to run for. Because I feel extremely lucky to have two happy and healthy little boys at home, yet know it’s not the case for all families, I’ve chosen to run this half marathon for the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.
I’d be so grateful for any donation towards that cause, big or small, and I’ll literally try my best for you all to go that extra mile!
With huge thanks, and lots of love,
Florence, with support from my special cheerleaders Ravi, Léon and Gokul
